    This is the required seminar for those pursuing CDP certification and who qualify through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

    Participants will receive a certificate for 8 contact hours. This course has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services for Personal Care Home & Assisted Living Administrators.

This specialized program incorporates dance-inspired movements, rhythm, and stretching to enhance flexibility, coordination, and muscle memory. By engaging the senses—sight, sound, and touch—participants can improve balance, focus, and overall well-being in a supportive and uplifting environment.

    Brief Description of Event: Memory Cafes are welcoming and safe places where individuals with dementia and their care partners can meet with others with similar experiences in a supportive environment. Persons living with dementia can enjoy themselves in a friendly, nonjudgmental setting. Memory cafes are an opportunity to make new friends, learn about resources, and make connections. It is not a day center. The individual with dementia MUST be accompanied by their care partner.

    Please join us for snacks, companionship, and games. This is a FREE event.
