A memory screening is a simple and safe “healthy brain check-up” that tests memory and other thinking skills. The memory screening is a series of questions and/or tasks that takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Memory screenings are not a diagnosis of any health condition, but instead an indicator of whether a person may benefit from more extensive medical exams by their primary care physician or a medical specialist.

Dementia Friendly Pennsylvania has partnered with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) to offer free memory screenings through AFA’s National Memory Screening Program.
