• Including communities that experience inequities because of race, ethnicity, culture, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, mental health, hearing/sensory differences, intellectual or physical abilities, and economic status

Joining the network of Dementia Friendly Pennsylvania Communities means your community is engaged in a process to become more dementia-friendly. After you pledge, your community will work collaboratively over the next two years to join Dementia Friendly America, a national network of communities, organizations and individuals seeking to ensure that communities across the U.S. are equipped to support people living with dementia and their care partners.
